Who We Are

Haley Kraskovic
APRN, FNP-C
Nurse Practitioner
Haley has been a nurse for nearly 20 years. She has a decade of experience in a variety of ICU specialties, ranging from pediatrics to adult trauma. During her time working in the ICU, she gained experience in critical care transport; transporting patients both on the ground and in flight. Haley then spent 5 years as an organ procurement coordinator with responsibilities that included full medical management of organ donors leading into their donation.

Haley graduated with her Family Nurse Practitioner Degree and moved her family to Texas with the sole intent to practice functional medicine upon graduation. Her inspiration to pursue functional medicine was the result of witnessing the consequences of mismanaged health and a broken healthcare system during her years in the ICU and emergency care.
She graduated with honors in 2020 with her FNP and was blessed to begin her career under the mentorship of Dr. Guillory at Root Causes Medicine. Haley has gained significant knowledge and skills in functional medicine while seeing a variety of patients of all ages, medical concerns and overall health goals.
Becoming a mother of two influenced Haley to evaluate what true health means as it drove her to raise her children with a more holistic approach to their own health. Seeing the benefits within her own family ignited the passion to help others achieve the same goals.
Haley believes that everybody is capable of truly understanding and empowering their mind and body to heal given the right knowledge and guidance. To help her patients achieve these capabilities she individualizes their care by making sure each patient is comfortable with the pace of their own health journey. She expresses how healing is not linear and will have it’s challenges, however, she will always adapt to new goals by providing multiple options to improve the overall health of her patients.
Haley is willing to collaborate with a variety of providers and specialists to provide the best outcome for each patient. She also enjoys seeing the progression and improvement in the overall health of her patients when she works alongside other providers. Haley continues to challenge herself by researching and gaining more knowledge every day and strives to provide the best care for each and every one of her patients. When not in the clinic, you will find her with her family either traveling, on the soccer fields or with her horses.
